Kyle Trefny is a faculty research assistant and co-manager of the Forest and Fire Workforce Pathways project.

Kyle is also a lifelong Ducks fan. He graduated from the University of Oregon in 2024 with degrees in economics and Chinese. His thesis research focused on using discrete choice experiments to learn about youth preferences for wildfire resilience involvement.
